KVN Forum Meeting 21st November 2006

PD
Attendees: 3
Apologies: 2
The next meeting of the Forum will be held at the Kobler Clinic, 5th December
2006 on the 4th Floor of the St Stephens Centre, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm.
This document is a collection of the discussions held by the KVN Forum members
at the eleventh meeting of the KVN Forum, which took place on 21st November
2006 at the Kobler Clinic. These are not strictly minutes of the meeting,
but most of the points were loosely captured.
- Jane Bruton via Dr Mark Nelson received a self-assessment questionnaire
on the risk of catching Hepatitis C. The questionnaire has been compiled
by the Hep C Network in collaboration with HIV i-Base
Dr Nelson thought the forum should discuss the questionnaire and pass comments
back to him before he selects a small pilot group from his patients prior
to putting the questionnaire into the waiting room.
JB is going to try and get a PDF version of the document to send to the
KVN list. JB will also invite David Pieper of the Hep C Network to the January
forum meeting [Please note the January meeting will be held on the SECOND
Tuesday (9th January 2007)]. - JB reported that the blood test audit was going well so far. We agreed
that JB would compile a short article for ‘Trust News’ about
the audit. - ∑With the first anniversary of the KVN Forum on the horizon we should
look to compile an article for publication in the February edition of ‘Trust
News’ hopefully to go on the front page. - With such poor attendance at the meeting we decided that these fortnightly
business meetings we concluded that these meetings should only be held when
the need arises.
Please forward all points/suggestions for next meeting to the online forum,
or directly to CD at declec@hotmail.com
and the Agenda will be posted to the online Forum, with any additional points
added to it as they are sent in.
